There will be a variety of workshops coming up which will be facilitated by Home-Start Corby, alongside some of our partners and delivered through ZOOM. 

Workshops to include: Paediatric First Aid, Fun Fitness sessions, Homeschooling, Healthy Lifestyles, Reading with your Children.

MONEY DOESN'T GROW ON TREES with Citizens Advice Bureau.              

This is an energy information session - looking at getting the best deals on your energy bills, switching your energy provider and understanding services that Citizens Advice Bureau can provide and booking 1:1 sessions with families where required.


PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID with AG Evolution.               

Paediatric first aid course, which also covers raising awareness of Health and Safety in the home.



with Corby Borough Council Housing Options and Corby Community Safety Partnership.   

This workshop focuses on feeling safe at home, dealing with any problem areas associated with hate crimes etc and also looking into how tenancies work, rights, expectations, how to remain and maintain.


HEALTHY LIFESTYLES - with Natalia Fletcher (NHS)                           

Raising awareness of healthy lifestyles. Identifying healthy and non-healthy food, sharing stories and recipes and signposting to further support for particular issues.


WHAT DID I WANT TO BE WHEN I GREW UP with Evolve             

A workshop which helps to recapture aspirations we once had but which got lost through knocks to confidence and busyness in bringing up children. This workshop explores options and choices available, how to access training and supports with returning to work.


THIS OLE HOUSE with Much Loved                    

This is a practical session offering a choice of activities such as upcycling a small piece of furniture or creating cushioms from recycled material. This offers the opportunity to learn skills such as using a sewing machine, recycling/upcycling and encourages an appreciation of traditional crafts such as knitting sewing and gardening.


STORYSACKS with Corby Library                 

This is a practical session which guides parents and their children through putting together a storysack, which they can share together.
